Benefits Advisor (Remote, Texas)

About the role

Vasu Organization is part of the American Income Division of Globe Life. Benefits Advisors help working families in Texas understand their insurance and benefits options and choose protection that fits their situation.

This is a fully remote position. You work from home anywhere in Texas; there is no office to report to.

What you will do

• Meet with individuals and families by phone or video to understand their needs.
• Explain insurance and benefits options clearly and honestly.
• Follow up with the people you serve and keep your records current.
• Complete required Texas licensing and agency training.
• Work with a mentor and your leadership team to keep improving.

What success looks like

• You become licensed in Texas and complete training and the first-90-day program.
• You keep up consistent, professional activity with the families you serve.
• You build a base of clients who trust your guidance.

Training and support

You are not left on your own. Pre-training, agency training and a structured first-90-day program come before you work independently, and mentors and coaches are available along the way.

Licensing

A Texas insurance license is required to move forward. The process includes enrolling in an approved licensing course, completing practice exams, passing the state licensing exam, and completing licensing and background approval.

Licensing costs and any reimbursement eligibility are explained before an offer is accepted. This posting does not promise that licensing is paid for.

How you are paid

Compensation is performance-based. This is an independent contractor engagement, not a salaried position, and there is no guaranteed income. What you earn depends on your results.

Earnings, bonuses and renewals are subject to the terms of your independent contractor agreement and company policies. Individual results vary and are not guaranteed. The schedule is nontraditional and is reviewed with you during the interview.

Growth and leadership

People who build and perform can grow into leadership and mentoring roles with the organization. Advancement is not guaranteed and depends on results.
